Apparently SAW 5 will be released on DVD and Blu-ray later this month. January 20th is the official release date and it looks like there are a couple different versions you can pick up.

SAW is rated R, HSM3 is rated G so you’re obviously going to be able to get a bigger crowd out for High School Musical. I’m actually surprised HSM only made $42 million, but I’m sure DVD sales will be through the roof. And as for SAW 5, it took in $30.5 million, which is really good for an R rated movie, especially the 5th movie in a series. So apparently people are still intrigued by the story of Jigsaw (like me) and if the movies continue to make money like this there’s no telling when the series will end.

I will post my review as soon as I can find time to see it, I’ve got a pretty busy weekend so hopefully I’ll get to the theater soon. For now though, those of you that saw it, feel free to post your thoughts on the movie in the comments here. Try to keep them spoiler free if you can.
